FANTASTIC weekend

What an awesome weekend we had!! I feel just high on life after the great time we had.

Friday night was Ramona's (a woman I train) birthday. She had invited me months ago to try and make sure I would come since I obviously dont get out much. I asked Beth to watch Scarlett back in January and she very kindly agreed. However, she came down with a very bad case of the flu so Nick stayed home with Scarlett. I put her to bed around 8 and there was a bbq outside with all of our neighbors. Nick stayed out at the bonfire and listiened for Scarlett, but was slept the entire time.

I went and met all of the girls at the Red Barn in Summit. It felt so nice to be out alone and able to be with friends... ahhh :-) We then went to Locomotions and danced the night away. It was an absolute blast.

Saturday morning after my class Scarlett and I headed to Moravia to see Matt, Lorin, Bobby, Jenna, Jackson, Steve and Tristan. We just hung around the house and let the babies play. Jackson is 10 days younger than Scarlett and more than 10lbs HEAVIER than her. HAHA it was so funny to watch them play. They both had walkers and they would run all around the first floor bumping into each other and screeching. Very, very cute! They even took a bath together and we took the cutest pictures. After the babies went to bed we had a very good dinner with stuffed mushrooms and smoked meat. We played Pictionary and Scattegories until 2 in the morning. We all had so much fun.

We were up early again in the morning and the men cooked us breakfast. What a treat! We then went to Bass Pro Shop and walked around showing the babies the fishes. That afternoon we walked into town and got ice cream at a little shop. It felt so good to be around friends and people I had known a long time, since that is not the usual for me. I really felt like I could be myself and relax, it was sad to leave.

Scarlett and I made it home Sunday night and we were all very happy to be reunited with Nick. He missed us :-)! That night I got some alone time with my husband, whom I adore, and life seemed so perfect.

I am so blessed for the friends and family I have. I am surrounded by love!
