Summit, New York

We have arrived! We are officially residents of Summit, New York. Things are going okay since we moved in. We are having some major issues with the house such as leaks, piles of left over garbage and junk, and cosmetic fixes. What a drag! Nick and I might actually look at another rental just to have a back up if things do not go well when the owner comes this weekend.

Not much else to report at this point. My mom is still healing. She laughed on the phone when she turned her foot wrong and had a lot of pain and said not to worry her Tylenol will fix it. The joke was that on the bottle it said it treats "Minor Aches and Pains", Im not sure a full knee replacement surgery falls under that category.

Matt and Lorin went to Massachusettes for the week, and Im kind of anxious for them to come back. I liked having them here.

Scarlett is doing well with the move. She plays a little on her own so I get a little time to try and get things done. I wonder how much she notices about being in a new house and not see other family every day. She seems unphased but Im not sure. Tasha is having a hard time adjusting but I know she will be okay. I dont want to just let her out and roam since we live right on the road, and also the garbage that Joe left is open for her to dig in... and she hates that. After living at Beth and Peters with other dogs and lots of land to play in she is so depressed here, but like I said I know she will adjust.

The best part of living here is the faster internet so Im anxious to post pictures and videos now. Stay tuned :-)
