Making our house a home

After lots of complaining, back and forths on whether to stay or go, and checking out other homes we have decided to STAY! With leaks in the kitchen, leaks in the bathroom, and the heat going out it was a little scary to invision our lives here but Joe came down and fixed some things and Nick and I spent all day Sunday making this place a home, its really starting to feel like it. Im excited to rent this place, and excited to some day buy a home. I found my dream home on Fancher lake... maybe someday :-)

Lots of pictures of our new house to follow.

Otherwise Scarlett and I had a pretty quiet weekend. It was opening day for gun season so Nick spent most of Saturday hunting. We went to Bret and Junes on Saturday night and had some fun just chatting and letting the babys play. I was really worried about Scarlett because she had some blueberries with my yogurt and even though it wasnt much she didnt poop for a few days afterwards. She was making grunting noises and her face was getting red for 2 days... and no poop. I started really worrying and tried the bath, and bicycle motions with her legs, and all sorts of thigns. I decided if there was no mess by Monday morning I would call the doctor.. but thankfully, on Sunday afternoon she did. HOORAY! Its funny how good that can make a first time mom feel. Im so grateful to God that she is healthy. Tonight as I was putting her to bed I was thinking about all the horrible things other parents must go through when they have an ill child. I dont know how I could survive it to be honest. God bless them.
