Posting pictures with my one free hand :-)

I cant believe how much time I no longer have because its all taken up with caring for Scarlett. Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt have it any other way, but I thought maintaining a blog (and keeping the house clean) wouldnt be THIS hard. Scarlett is constantly nursing, so we spend the majority of our day doing that. It usually leaves me with one free hand but thats about it. Shes still nursing really well and gaining weight so Im very pleased that breastfeeding has been this easy. 

We had a wonderful weekend last weekend. Friday night we finished watching the Star Wars trilogy. It was my first time watching the entire movies, and I really enjoyed them. Luke Skywalker reminded me of my dad from pictures Ive seen when he was young haha and Han Solo is kind of a sexy "space cowboy" (as Nick called him haha) Saturday, Nick went to Jeremy's to help him with his truck and Scarlett and I went over to hang out with his wife and kids. The kids loved Scarlett and they even held her. It was adorable (pictures below). I had been a little worried about going out and nursing but it went very well and it was SOO nice to be out of the house.

Sunday was Nicks first Fathers Day. We went and got him breakfast and coffee in the morning. Then we spent the day relaxing and watching movies. The Kings Speech was a fantastic movie we both enjoyed. Nick watched the Nascar race and we showered and got ready to go to dinner. It was the first time with Scarlett that we were out in public and we went to Lin's Chinese buffet. It was extremely busy but very yummy. Scarlett just slept in her Moby wrap the entire dinner. Such a fun evening.

Now we are back in the week and Nick is busy at school while we are holding down the fort at home. Beth and Matty are coming Wednesday night, and Emily and Austin arrive Thursday. I think we will just spend time around the house (its too dang hot to go anywhere anyway). I know Friday we are going to look at gowns for Emily's wedding and Im really excited for that.
