Our Stay-cation

Last Wednesday the Grays came to visit us. We were planning on just Nicks mother (Beth) and brother (Matty) but his dad surprised us and decided to come along last minute. Nick was so very excited to see him. They got in late Wednesday night and then Emily and Austin came Thursday afternoon. It was wonderful for them to finally get to see Scarlett. Im such a proud mom, and love showing her off :-) They, of course, loved her and she was the perfect addition to the family. On Friday we went bridal gown shopping with Emily. She picked the dress shes going to wear for the big day, and it was actually the first dress she tried on. She looked BEAUTIFUL! I had to nurse a couple times in public that day and its starting to get really comfortable for me ...  yay! I also went swimming with the group and left Scarlett for about a half an hour for the first time. She was swimming and Beth was so nice to watch her for me. It was fun to swim and laugh and play with Nick. We got to stay in a hotel with them and it was nice to get away from the apartment for a few nights. Also, we went to the movies and it wasnt that great for me because I felt in a little bit of a panic that she would make noise and ruin the movie for someone else, so I pretty much stood by the door just in case. Haha the movie Super 8 was a pretty awful movie anyway. Other than that we just had a lot of time to enjoy each others company and talk about the move to NY. I cant believe we will be there in a month... CRAZY!

So thankful for the family I married into :-)
