So today marks the day that Scarlett is 2 weeks old. I cant believe how much life has changed in the past two weeks. We have fallen completely in love with our little baby and she has turned our world upside down.
Our time in the hospital came and went in about a day and then we were sent home with Scarlett to figure out life. The first couple days of nursing were a little difficult because she would latch and unlatch and grow increasingly upset. The first night at home was the roughest we've had so far. Now she is nursing beautifully and is a very happy baby.
Her cord stump fell off at 8 days and so now we are able to take real baths. The first couple baths were in the sink and she didnt love it. So yesterday I got in the actual bath tub with her and it went much better. Dad had to help get her dressed and undressed and it was good bonding for them too :-)
We spent tonight at Erin and Gary's house, it was Erins birthday. Everyone doted on Scarlett and commented on how cute she was. Im such a proud mom!
Nick was busy this weekend working with a friend on his truck and made a little bit of money so we could buy a camera. Lots of wonderful pictures to follow <3
