Things I want to remember about...

...why I love my husband.

1. He's honest, and at times honest to a fault. He's the type of man that says what he is feeling no matter who's around, and doesn't say something when he's not feeling it. If were apart and he misses me he will tell me, but if he doesnt feel that way at the time it doesnt occur to him to say it just to make me feel better. It's refreshing to be around a person that is that true to what they think and feel. It makes the times he tells me how much he loves me and our family all the better.

2. He's smart and knows all sorts of things I know nothing about (guns, history, hunting, outdoorsy type things, mechanics, tactical things, how to survive in situations where I would have no idea how to get out of, trivia!) He constantly doubts how smart he is, and yet he's constantly teaching me things (and Im no dummy haha jk)

3. He's ambitous. He has a list a mile long with what he wants to do in life because there are too many directions he could take our lives. Its exciting, and it will be fun to see how it all turns out.

4. He's inventive and creative when it comes to making money. He has well thought out plans that would have never occured to me. Sometimes taking a risk can be a good thing.

5. I love that he is fun and exciting to be around. I have more fun when hes around than when he is away. I love our movie watching hobby, we have so much fun together,

6. I love how I feel like we know each other better than any other couple. We just don't hold back, and its wonderful. I might be way off in my thinking we know each other better than other couples, but Im fine living in a world where this is special and true.

7. I love how he makes me feel appreciated. When he comes home after school he will comment on how clean the house looks, or say something nice about what I did that day. He always says what I cook tastes good (even if its simple, like Mac N Cheese haha) And he constantly tells me he is glad that I am the mother of his child... especially when shes crying and Im walking around singing "Wheels on the Bus" over and over. I feel special with him.

8. I love that he's manly and sexy. He can be dirty, covered in grease, wearing his levi's and boots and I can not think of another man that is more attractive. I feel safe and protected and like he is the MAN that I was looking for.

Lastly, I love watching him become such a wonderful father. He's attentive and sweet to her. He makes sure to help me with dinner, or grocery shopping, and walking the dog so that I can feed our child since that job is mine alone. He sings to her and laughs at her funny faces and noises with me.

We are far from perfect but its wonderful to write all these things I love so much about him down, so in those times where its grey skies I can remember these wonderful days.
